Business Development Representative

Responsibilities

  • Work with management to segment the corporate market and develop a strategy to generate new business opportunities
  • Contact prospective clients through cold calling and develop/maintain a consistent pipeline
  • Clearly articulate the company's value proposition to prospects
  • Track leads, activity and opportunities in CRM
  • Maintain client satisfaction and exercise strong communication skills
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the competitive environment

Qualifications

  • Experience selling complex B2B technology solutions preferred
  • True 'hunter' mentality with consultative sales approach
  • Self-starter with a successful track record in a competitive environment
  • Well-developed communication skills — comfortable selling via phone, video, and in person
  • Ability to uncover needs, build value, present solutions, and create urgency
  • Collaborative team player — Bachelor's degree preferred
