Meet Julie

Julie Silverstein is the founder of Julie Silverstein & Partners which provides experiential executive advisory services to female entrepreneurs, growth company executives, and Not for Profit CEOs. Julie advises in technology, educational, and professional services sectors as well as mission based not for profit organizations.

​Prior to founding Julie Silverstein and Partners, Julie served in executive leadership for several companies, including serving as President of Eved from 2011 – 2015. Prior to Eved, Julie was President of SmithBucklin, the world’s largest professional services corporation for nonprofits and trade associations. Julie was the highest-ranking female executive in the company’s history.

​In addition to her business advisory services, Julie’s decades of experience in not-for-profit management fostered her passion for coaching Boards of Directors through successful CEO transitions. She is passionate about creating high functioning boards that understand how to successfully partner with strong, independent thinking female leaders. She both sits on and advises several for profit and not for profit boards that are committed to this mission and is actively engaged with Compass, a pro bono consulting service for not for profits in the Chicago area.

Julie graduated with a BA from the University of Michigan. She is a sports enthusiast and former competitive rugby player – although the competitive part is not former. She participates on the Investment Committee for Belle Capital, an angel fund focused on providing funds to female led start-ups in the technology space.
